"Since its debut in 1938, Heilo has been Norway's premier wool knitting yarn. It is strong and durable, spun from only the longest fibers of 100% Pure New Norwegian Wool. Recommended gauge is 24 stitches per 4 inches (10 cm) on U.S. size 3 (3 mm) or 4 3.5 mm needles. Heilo has the same gauge as Falk, Tiur and Kolibri. Heilo is available in a wide range of colors, suitable for both fashion knitting and more traditional designs. One ball of Heilo contains approx. 109 yards (100 meters).
